Janet’s Rich Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 medium bananas, sliced
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and combine well.
- In a separate bowl, blend together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until smooth.
