Chicken and Noodle Skillet Dish

Ingredients:
- 10 ounces of egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas and carrots, thawed
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, peas, and carrots. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 3 minutes, or until the onions are tender and translucent. Stir in the flour until well combined.
- Add the chicken stock and heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked noodles and chicken to the skillet. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and serve hot. Enjoy!
