Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)

  • 3/4 cup whole milk or buttermilk

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dry Ingredients:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar (if using).

Cut in the Butter:
